Proposals for ISCEV approved Extended protocols

Process for proposal, review and approval: ISCEVExtendProtocol-Nov09.pdf

A number of laboratories use extended protocols to investigate clinical cases or for clinical trials. To introduce consisitancy and better inter-laboratory comparisons, ISCEV has formed a committee to consider the details of a set of extended protocols. The first three proposals for extended protocols are fully drafted and are open for discussion (as are the background and literature associated with the proposed extended protocols).

All comments on these protocols will be compiled in mid June 2009 for consideration of approval at the ISCEV Annual meetings at the International Symposium in July 2009. We plan to roll out discussions for a series of other protocols in the near future; each will be announced through the ISCEV email list with discussions on this site.

On behalf of the ISCEV Extended Protocols Committee,
Prof. Eberhart Zrenner, Chair

Extended ERG protocols open for discussion: comments on draft version 1.0 will be compiled after 28 February 2009.
